Can you over emphasize missions?

Currently only 1 out of every 144 career vocational ministers/missionaries and 1 penny from every dollar are going to the unreached people groups of our world. In other words, we are not properly balanced in our efforts to reach the lost. That means we must communicate the global needs and allow God’s people to respond accordingly. We understand that not all are called to go global, but we do believe all are called to be involved in God’s global plan on some level. We also believe that by emphasizing and energizing global missions we can revitalize local missions. It has been our experience that those who develop a more global and kingdom mind set by traveling outside their comfort zone become more aware of and responsive to the needs at home.

In short, we firmly believe that a global emphasis will not only assist in reaching the lost over seas, but right here at home. Please help me continually communicate that vision and know that it is my desire to remain balanced in our approach to reach the lost.
